UroCCR: Réseau Français de Recherche sur le Cancer du Rein

OUR PROJECT

The recent diversification of treatment methods for kidney tumors and the deployment of the concept of multidisciplinary consultation have led us to adapt the research tools to the reality of the care currently provided to patients with kidney cancer. Our goal since 2011, thanks to the support of the National Cancer Institute, is to develop a national multidisciplinary medico-scientific network with an activity centered on therapeutic management and applied research on kidney cancer. This network makes it possible to identify and document in a shared database, clinical, biological and radiological data for all newly diagnosed patients in participating centers. The creation of this national network represents a major asset for the realization of collaborative research projects.
